DINIng At Greywalls
The Chez Roux dining room at Greywalls draws as much from the kitchen garden as from its Michelin-trained roots. Whether you're here for a long dinner, a Sunday lunch, or a classic afternoon tea, the approach is the same: good produce, handled carefully.
Menus change with the seasons. Non-residents are warmly welcome.
DINNER
The Dining Room | From 6pm | Daily
A set dinner of three courses, built around seasonal Scottish produce and the techniques of Chez Roux. Dishes are considered without being fussy — rabbit ballotine, Highland salmon, roasted venison — and a dessert trolley worth lingering over.
3 courses | £80
Lounge Dining
The Lounge | Available throughout the day
For something more relaxed, the lounge menu offers the same attention to ingredients in a relaxed setting. Starters, sandwiches served with salad or fries, mains, and something sweet - available from the bar or by the fire.
Bar snacks are also available: marinated olives, salted almonds.
AFTERNOON TEA
Daily | 2:30 - 4pm
Artisan sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Albert Roux's own jam and clotted cream, hot savouries, and a selection of cakes — all served alongside Ronnefeldt loose-leaf teas and Lomond Coffee.
The champagne option includes a glass of Albert Roux's Blanc de Blanc.
Afternoon Tea | £40 per-person
Champagne Afternoon Tea | £55 per-person
Tea & Scones | £12 per-person
Sunday Lunch
Every Sunday | 12 - 3pm
Start with Cullen Skink and sourdough, or Parma ham and mozzarella bruschetta, before moving on to the roast - sirloin of Scotch beef with all the proper accompaniments. Desserts lean classic: sticky toffee pudding, carrot cake, a scoop or two of ice cream.
2 Courses | £38 per-person
3 Courses | £48 per-person
Lunch
Monday - Saturday | 12 - 3pm
The weekday lunch menu is a shorter, seasonal affair - soup of the day with sourdough, Scotch flat iron steak, fish of the day, and a few well-chosen desserts.
2 Courses | £25 per-person
3 Courses | £30 per-person
Live PIano
