Colonel’s House
This light and airy lodge accommodation was built in the late 1960s by the Weaver family for Colonel Weaver’s retirement, giving the house its namesake. Situated just beyond the gates of the hotel, it provides that extra bit of privacy so you can really make the most of your luxury cottage stay.
Located just 500 yards from Greywalls, Colonel’s House can sleep up to eight guests, which makes it ideal for a range of larger groups including family holidays, golfing getaways, or even special occasions. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings while having the privacy of your own space.
The house is also available as extra accommodation alongside our hotel accommodation, so there is plenty of space available for you and your guests if you are visiting us for a wedding or another extra special occasion.
Beautifully Decorated SELF-CATERING Accommodation
Our charmingly decorated house has everything you need to enjoy your luxury cottage stay. Featuring a classic drawing room with French windows that open out onto a stunning private garden and terrace, perfect to enjoy in the warmer weather. The house also is fitted with a full kitchen, great if you prefer to dine in with friends and family.
The small cosy study provides a fabulous solace to curl up with a book, or the housekeeper can use it to set out a drinks tray before a livelier evening!
Upstairs, the four spacious bedrooms are elegantly furnished, and each has its own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms feature a private ensuite and the other two have a bathroom located just outside of the room. There are also two cosy single rooms annexed off one the doubles which require shared bathrooms.
